Introducing Crunch

Starting your life as a hunter is actually a big pain in the butt. If you have not mastered the art of kiting and jump shooting yet - and if you just woke up in a dumpster, this might be a little tricky - you will hit the mob once or maybe twice with your gun and then try to melee him down faster than he does you. If the mob is joined by a friend in the process, you will go down faster than a gnomish pilot with supersafe rocket engines.

But if you ignore the pain and bruises and bite your way through, you will finally be rewarded and Mr Miyagi - or whoever your trainer is - will teach you how to handle a pet. With the pet, you will have no problem whatsoever to kill the mob.

And his friend.

And his family.

And burn his house down too!

The City

Today, I arrived in Kharanos. It is the biggest city I ever saw. They have 2 buildings!

I also got rid of the raccoon pee stained clothes after I found a lovely dress on a mangled wolf carcass. I suddenly get a lot of attention from the ladies! All eyes on me!

Total assets: 8 silver and 29 copper.

The One Where It All Began

So I woke up in a dumpster in Coldridge Valley and realized that I was totally lost. I had no money, no food, no friends and my pants had recently been doused by a raccoon. In my quest to become filthy rich I had without a doubt already achieved the "filthy" part.

To also become rich will not be as easy, I am afraid. First, I will need to find a job!

New Project

Partially inspired by the Greedy Goblin, I have decided to start a little project, or enterprise, if you will: a new character in World of Warcraft, on a fresh realm, with no gold or support whatsoever and focus on earning gold and soloing instances.

In fact, I had a lot of fun soloing bosses in Blackrock Depths with my gnome rogue, back in the days when level 60 was the level cap. But for this project, I am going to play a hunter, which is much better suited for solo play.
